Draft for early access, pending legal review
Last updated 30 October 2026
This page explains what WeddingAssistant collects, where it is kept, who can see it, and how you remove it. It covers the couple who create a wedding site and the guests who reply to that site’s forms.
What we collect
- Your account. The email address and name you sign up with.
- Your wedding. The details you enter in the intake: names, date, location, events, travel and hotel information, dress code, FAQ, registry links, your story, the look you want, and the photos you upload. We also keep the forms you set up and the changes you ask for in the chat.
- Guest replies. What guests submit through your site’s forms, such as names, whether they will attend, meal choices, plus-ones, dietary notes, song requests, travel plans and answers to your own questions.
Where it is stored
Everything is stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. Your account and your wedding records are kept in our database. Each wedding’s guest replies are kept in that wedding’s own database on the Deployments platform, separate from every other wedding.
How AI is used
AI models process the details and photos you enter in order to design and build your site, to check it against what you entered, and to make the changes you ask for. Your wedding details are sent to those models for that purpose.
Who can see what
- Your published site is visible to anyone who has its web address.
- Guest replies are visible only to you, the couple, in your dashboard, in CSV exports and in the notifications you turn on.
- Nothing goes live until you press Publish.
We use your email address to run your account and to send the notifications you choose, such as an email when a guest replies and reminders before a form’s deadline.
Exporting and deleting
From the app you can export your guest replies as a CSV, export everything for your wedding, and delete the wedding. Deleting a wedding removes its site, its details and its guest replies.
